Frequently Asked Questions:
Help! My dog has parvo! I need Parvaid and Vibactra but you're closed! What do I do?
You'll need an emergency tea recipe while you're waiting for your health aids to be shipped. You'll find the tea recipe and a wealth of very useful, reader-friendly information about parvo in this guide:
http://ambertech.com/parv/Parvo_Information_Self_Help_Guide.pdf
The emergency tea recipe is in the table of contents and can be clicked for your convenience. For extra fast service, we can overnight your packages to you. Call or email about overnight shipping and handling rates. Leave a message if we're away from our desks.
Do I have to add my phone number to the Paypal order page?
No, but we do provide the field and strongly encourage you to use it just in case there's a problem with your order. If your pet is in pain or is very sick, it's important to be able to reach you if we need to. But the field is optional and you don't need to use it if you don't want to.
I need the Parvaid Value Kit right away, but I don't have a credit card to order online. What can I do?
Many stores such as Walmart now sell pre-paid debit cards. You can buy one of these and use it right away to make your purchase. If you do not have a Walmart near you, you can search online to see which stores carry them.
My puppy has parvo, but he's doing better. It's safe to leave him alone, right?
It's exciting to see the progress, but you're not in the clear yet. At this point it's easy to get comfortable and skip doses; please remember to follow through until your pup has made a complete recovery. Parvo can be healed quickly, but it also progresses very, very fast as well. If you can't stay with your dog, it is critical to leave him in the care of someone you trust to make every dose, the hydration, and other care requirements on time.
Do holistic health aids really work?
Yes! Like any other health aid, it's important to select the right ones for your condition and use them as directed. Here's one testimonial from one of our customers:
Hi Jana
...I wanted to give you an update on our sick kitty. We received the Urinary Tract Relief and the Kidney Rejuvenator
and i started administering it to Abby immediately. I have seem marvelous improvement with her in just 24 hours ! I cannot thank you enough for all of your help, especially at a time when i was at my wits end. She is improving hourly. I am so thankful for these products. Abby says thank you too. =^..^= ...
Sincerely
Cynthia
The next day of treatment we learned:
Abby is feeling even better since my last e-mail to you. She is finally running around and actually playing with the other kittys, something she has not done for 3 weeks now.
These are the most amazing products and gives me great peace of mind knowing i have them on hand now. I am so happy to have found you online and wish more than anything i had used these products first, instead of two rounds of antibiotics which produced no results whatsoever. Thank you so much for the phone conversations in helping me work towards a healthier kitty. I am so happy and greatly relieved to finally be seeing a much happier and healthier furry little friend. It does your heart good to see them suffering no longer !
Thanks so much for everything Jana !
Sincerely, Cynthia
Does the Parvaid/Vibactra Plus combo really work?
Yes! It has been shown to have a success rate of 85% in helping a dog recover from parvo. Not only that, but the company that supplies this product is a member of the Better Business Bureau. We also have personal experience with this product. But while we guarantee the *product* for 30 days, no vet, clinic, supplier, or manufacuter would ever guarantee your dog will live, any more than a hospital promises that a cancer patient will be cured. You're dealing with a horrendous disease. Whether your dog falls into the probable 85% success statistic or its unfortunate flip side (15%) depends on a lot of factors, such as your dog's care during treatment and his natural constitution. It's critical to do everything you can to protect your pooch. Some factors include how soon you were able to catch the illness, whether or not your dog is kept hydrated, whether or not he gets all the doses on time, how closely the caregiver follows the guide, how strong the dog's immune system is, correct diagnosis, whether or not your dog has other illnesses in addition to parvo, etc. It's exciting to see fast progress, but it's easy to think it's over before it really is, and forget a few doses. Or worse, leave your dog for the day while you're at work. It's important to treat this horrible illness as the serious threat it is, until your pup seems to have a complete recovery. Save the rest of the Parvaid/Vibactra Plus in case of a relapse-more common with dogs not strongly symptomatic, but it can happen to any dog.
You guys seem to have a lot of information. Are you vets?
This is probably the single most commonly asked question. No, we're not vets. We simply take the wellbeing of your pet and our profession very seriously. We read from professional veterinary journals and do all we can to arm ourselves with information from every possible perspective on the illnesses our products bring us to encounter. The more we know, the more you know, and that means better health for your pets. Since many vets are not familiar with holistic health, your vet may need information from you. And that's the core of our business: self-empowerment.
I noticed you're a Christian company and you offer assistance to charities. I represent a charity. Can mine benefit?
Right now our roster of charities to which we give money is full, but you may submit a link for posting on our rescues page or links page. We don't guarantee placement, however; posting is at the discretion of the company.
I'm interested in giving to a charity or adopting a pet. Can you recommend one?
We post links to rescues and other useful organizations and companies as a service to our customers. As a policy, we do not endorse specific organizations, because we don't have time to research all of them, nor can we guarantee your money will be well-spent. So while we offer resources, our posting the links on our site does not imply endorsement. Please research any organization before supporting or using it. While we post the links for your convenience, please understand that Kosmar doesn't accept responsibility if you have a bad experience for any reason. By using the links posted here, you agree to accept responsibilty.
I'm interested in more information about health and pet care. Can you provide it for me?
Kosmar remains committed to empowering those we serve. We offer lots of resources on our links page, and plans to provide more information are in the works. Keep checking back.
